New York’s mayor remains defiant after FBI agents raid his home amid bribery and conspiracy charges

New York Mayor Eric Adams was indicted yesterday on charges that he accepted illegal campaign contributions and bribes from foreigners in exchange for favors including helping Turkish officials obtain fire safety approvals for a new diplomatic building in the city.

Mr. Adams, a former police officer, faces charges of conspiracy, wire fraud and bribery in a five-count indictment that details a decade-long trail of crimes.
