Jaylen McColough’s pick-six gives Rams an early lead over Packers

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – The Los Angeles Rams entered their Week 5 matchup against the Green Bay Packers as one of four teams without a defensive touchdown since 2023.

But that changed in the second quarter on Sunday, when rookie safety Jaylen McCollough intercepted a pass from Jordan Love to give the Rams the lead.

As Rams outside linebacker Byron Young pressured Love in the end zone on third down, the quarterback attempted to throw the ball away. His pass was intercepted by McCollough, who returned four yards for the touchdown.

According to ESPN Research, it was Love’s first pick of her career. Rams kicker Joshua Karty missed the point after the Rams took the 13-7 lead.
