Freddie Gibbs, Madlib Bring Clairo to The Greek

Freddie Gibbs and Madlib love to kick it with Clairo. The rap duo – currently enjoying ten years of their critically acclaimed collaborative album Piñata on a limited edition of Tenata shows – brought out the singer during New York City’s Tenata show and did it again for their Los Angeles show.

During last night’s Greek Theater performance, Gibbs surprised attendees when he introduced Clairo, with whom he took the stage Charm track “Terrapin” – which she also performed during the Tenata NYC show. Clairo also contributed to “Crime Pays”, as well as providing sporadic background vocals and tambourine accompaniment throughout the set.

El Michels Affair – which produced the entirety of Clairo’s Charm – has opened up for the rap duo during the limited run of anniversary shows, which also made stops in Boston and Chicago.
