Things got tense near the Artesian Well around 11:15 PM when a 23-year-old Tunisian guy got into the middle of a brawl with a bunch of guys. It wasn’t just a few heated words, mind you: this skirmish quickly escalated, involving about twenty people, reportedly Arabic-speaking, who took up arms against him and his friends. Police believe these boys were probably Syrians. Swords and sticks entered the fray, leaving our young Tunisian with some nasty cuts that required hospital care. His friends – a 27-year-old Tunisian boy and his 20-year-old German girlfriend – luckily escaped the damage.
