Police find dog tied up along a road in Tampa as Hurricane Milton approaches – video | Hurricane Milton

A Florida police officer found a dog tied up on the side of a road in Tampa before Hurricane Milton made landfall. The Florida Highway Patrol posted a message saying they had rescued the dog found on I-75. “Please don’t do this to your pets,” police said in a message accompanying the video.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles later reported that police took the dog to a veterinarian, where he was given a clean bill of health.
