Reichelsheim (pm). The first club in October at Oldies Club Wetterau (OCW) is one of the things that the club needs to do. The band »Love Ashbury« from Raum Hanau has developed an extensive repertoire and a light show.

After we have played the songs that belong to the club, the former Monika Seyfarth says at the greeting. A highlight war »Move Drive« by Janis Joplin, the singer of Natschy, Natalia Hoffmann, with Bravour was mastered. These were the songs of the 1960s and 1970s, the public under the spell of breastfeeding.

The name of the band is located in the city of Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco, one of the centers of Flower-Power-Bewegung.

Schon beim ersten Song »Good times, bad times« is a big event. Weitere Klassiker with »White Room« and »Suzie Q« made the Tanzfläche go to war. Also check out »Foxy Lady« for the Jimi-Hendrix fans. Another highlight was »Riders on the Storm« by den Doors, where the band received frenetic applause. It was very difficult, it was OCW’s first step with. Weiter then enters the repertoire with the classical core of »Long Train Running« and »Radar Love« by Golden Earring – which sits more on the chair. There were songs from »Time of the Season«, »The Weight« and »You’re No Good«.

Before the band has the courage to resist, there is no Zugabe, the audience is completely enthralled, the OCW with it. »Love Ashbury« consists of: Stephan Herget, Frank Hoef, Frank Weinrich, Volker Stenger, Natalia Hoffmann, Isa Hartwig and the Technik Sven Konrad.

The next club will take place on Tuesday, October 15 with the band »The Varied Project« statt.
