Talking Heads with section on “Jeopardy”: Hätten Sie’s gewusst?

The Talking Heads presented their own category in the American TV quiz “Jeopardy” during the service (October 15). The fragments appeared in a band history, in the discography that contained the 1984 concert film “Stop Making Sense”.

In a clip from the beginning of the show, the band has never been better. “We have not found any other things that stars from ‘Stop Making Sense'”, begins frontman David Byrne, “the best Konzertfilm of all times was witnessed”, continues Schlagzeuger Chris Frantz. “Jetzt, we were around 40. Years of new life,” said Bassistin Tina Weymouth fort, “were wir Hinweise auf den Film unsere Musik geben”, in which keyboardist Jerry Harrison played the Vorstellungsrunde. The clip provides an overview of the Talking Heads posts linking to social media channels.

In the active feature film show, the band gliders then present the fragments with their history before the video recordings themselves. And when we were able to find a candidate in the ‘Talking Heads’ section again, this became clear. The fragments are reflected in the fast 50-year band history of the New Yorker Gruppe, which produces big hits. Darunter “Psycho Killer” and “Burning Down The House”. When you watch the movie ‘Stop Making Sense’, the stage is set and the well-known cult of the New Yorker Club is where your first show is played.

Before the band can watch 40 years of the best concert films with a new film. I have been working on restoring director Jonathan Demme’s film as a 4K version for years, nor any of the films. A tribute album followed in May 2024, set to the music of The National, Miley Cyrus, Paramore and other of the band’s own cover versions.
