Aurora man arrested for armed robbery pleads guilty to misdemeanor assault, gets probation – Loveland Reporter-Herald

Robert Billie, one of three Aurora men charged in connection with an armed robbery earlier this year, has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge and been placed on probation.

Billie, 20, appeared before 8th Judicial District Chief Judge Susan Blanco on Wednesday morning, where he pleaded guilty to theft, a Class 4 felony. His remaining charges: possession of a prohibited high-capacity magazine during a felony, a class 6 misdemeanor; carrying a concealed weapon, a class 1 misdemeanor; and false imprisonment, a class 2 misdemeanor, were all dismissed.

Blanco sentenced Billie to two years of probation, during which time he must perform 64 hours of community service.

Billie was arrested earlier this year along with two other Aurora men and two youths following a robbery of three youths in a BMW in Mehaffey Park at the end of May.

One of his co-defendants, 19-year-old Ahmad Richardson, is accused of threatening the driver of the BMW after he refused to buy a gun from Richardson and was accused of stealing $80 from the boy, according to previously released information from Loveland. Police department. Another co-suspect, 19-year-old Isaiah Chavez-Seppelt, is accused of tapping the back window of the car with a gun and then inserting the weapon into the rack to fire a bullet into the chamber, it appears from previously released information.

Neither Richardson nor Chavez-Seppelt entered pleas in their cases. Both are expected to be released before Blanco October 30th.
