Mensa Italian Fine Food – Telephoning prohibited!

During the week I was in the Berliner Ensemble and was able to attend such a special restaurant. Zufällig stoße ich online op Mensa Fine Italian Food gleich een die Ecke en hoffe, dass der Name hält, was verspricht.

The small Gastraum is delicious, with the chef preparing the fresh Pasta Zubereitung. The internal workings are not as simple as Italian dishes are served, in the automatic locking of large antipasti and dolci, but in the center of the ovens is the obligatory, riesy coffee machine. Natürlich wie in Italian. In the living room you can see more hints: “Telephoning is prohibited!”

We also order mündlich. Die Lasagna alle Verdure (16.90 Euro), Mineralwasser (3.20 Euro) and the fresh Gnocchi with Trüffeln von der Tageskarte (18.90). The gnocchi are hand-made, wonderfully creamy and the truffle schmack is weighed and covers nothing.
