Actor Ajith Kumar on his racing comeback: It’s the only time I feel whole

Actor Ajith Kumar, who announced his racing team a few weeks ago, is making his racing comeback in Dubai. He will participate in the 2025 24h Dubai as team owner and driver. The actor is making his racing comeback after 15 years. In a short interaction he explained how much racing means to him.

The Vidaa Muyarchi actor recently spoke to sports anchor Suhail Chandhok about his comeback. Ajith and Suhail shared screen space in director Siva’s Veeram.

Ajith Kumar told him, “Racing is the only time I feel whole.”

Suhail shared a throwback photo with the actor and a transcript of the details about the racing tournaments. He wrote: “Always a pleasure to hear from an old friend, #AjithKumar, but this time to hear about his plans to go racing and push for a good calendar in the stunning @Porsche @PorscheRaces992 GT3 Cup- class! Everything he does, he does with passion, so I’m looking forward to this next journey in his adventure life and hopefully watching some of his races too (sic).”

Ajith Kumar launched his team called Ajith Kumar Racing. He is supported by Bas Koeten Racing, one of the popular racing teams in Europe. They will participate in 24h Dubai 2025 and the European 24H Series Championship in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup class.

The drivers of the acting team consist of Ajith himself, Fabian Duffieux, Mathieu Detry and Cam McLeod.

The 24h Dubai tournament will take place between January 9 and 12. The rest of the event takes place from March to September.

On the work front, Ajith Kumar has two films in the pipeline – Vidaa Muyarchi and Good Bad Ugly.
