CBSE Board Exam 2025: When Can Students Expect Class 10, 12 Date Sheets? a look at trends from the past

CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct class 10 and 12 board exams in 2025 from February 15. The detailed date sheets or timetables for the board exam will be released on the official website, cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE released class 10, 12 date sheets for the 2024 exams in mid-December. The class schedules for the 2023 board exams were released at the end of December.

Following these trends, students can expect the exam date to be announced in December.

Around 44 lakh candidates will appear for the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 8,000 schools across the country and abroad.

In a recent notification, CBSE reminded schools to strictly adhere to the examination regulations.

Rules state that students must maintain at least 75 percent attendance to qualify for board exams.

“The Board is offering 25% relaxation only in emergency situations such as medical emergencies, participation in national or international sporting events and other serious reasons, provided necessary documentation is submitted,” CBSE said.

The board has also announced the practical exam dates for the winter schools.

It informed practical exams, projects and internal assessments for class 10, 12 winter school exams will be completed between November 5 and December 5, 2024.

For other schools, the practical exams will take place from January 1.

Sample questions for 10th and 12th final exams have been released on the academic portal, cbseacademic.nic.in. Students can use these papers for practice and to understand the marking scheme and pattern of the exam and the types of questions asked in the test.
