Edwards Lifesciences Corp. reveals third quarter profit increase

WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) – Edwards Lifesciences Corp. (EW) reported a profit for the third quarter that increased compared to last year

The company’s profit came in at $362.1 million, or $0.61 per share. This compares with $334.9 million, or $0.55 per share, in the third quarter of last year.

Excluding posting, Edwards Lifesciences Corp. reported. an adjusted profit of $398.6 million or $0.67 per share for the period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 8.9% to $1.354 billion, compared to $1.243 billion last year.
