Based on early impressions, all signs point to the XM4 and AK-74 being the best assault rifles in Black Ops 6, but the AS VAL stands out from the rest of the competition with its impressive damage profile.

Black Ops 6 ARs usually fit into one of two roles. The XM4 is an all-rounder that does not necessarily have one striking feature, but does everything well. On the other hand, some players prefer weapons like the AK-74 because they deal overwhelming damage at the expense of recoil control.

The AS VAL fits a similar mold to the AK-74, but even more extreme, as it eliminates enemies faster than any other AR, but also has the worst recoil. The high-risk, high-reward nature of this weapon makes it an attractive option, but only in the right hands.

The two main weaknesses of the AS VAL are its difficult to control recoil and its small magazine capacity. Our equipment is aimed at addressing these problems. To start with the Vertical grip significantly improves horizontal recoil, while the Recoil springs help the recoil on the first shot and the vertical recoil.

Then the Suppressed reinforced barrel extends the AR’s damage range and increases bullet speed. Some players prefer the Reinforced Gain-Twist Barrel because it gives a better boost to bullet speed, but it is more worthwhile to add a few extra meters to the maximum damage range.

It’s hard to find an attachment that’s better than the Ergonomic handle as it provides massive boosts to glide to fire, dive to fire, and aim down at sight speeds.
