🚨 PSG confirms Le Classique’s dominance in victory in Marseille

Paris Saint-Germain claimed bragging rights in the first Classique of the season with a 3-0 win over Marseille.

Scorers: Neves 7′, Balerdi OG 29′, Barcola 40′

João Neves gave Luis Enrique’s side an early lead by converting Gerónimo Rulli and spilling Bradley Barcola’s cross into his path.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men a short time later when Amine Harit was immediately shown a red card for a challenge on Marquinhos on the halfway line.

Leonardo Balerdi comically turned the ball into his own net as he tried to intercept a cross down the right and poked the ball past a stranded Gerónimo.

Barcola extended Les Parisiens’ lead before the break with his ninth goal in eight games after taking the lead through Ousmane Dembele, whose initial effort was returned.

PSG are now three points clear of Monaco at the top of Ligue 1, while Roberto De Zerbi’s Phocéens are six points behind in third.
