Kenyan Government invites applications for Scholarships in Russia, Mauritius

Through the Ministry of Education, the state asked interested and qualified candidates to submit their applications for bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programs.

The scholarship program will help the successful candidates pay their tuition fees and contribute to their living costs in their respective countries.

“All interested applicants should download the standard scholarship application form from the ministry website,” the Ministry of Education said.

What are the requirements for scholarships in Mauritius?

  • Minimum KCSE average grade of B (ordinary).
  • Not older than 25 years for bachelor’s degrees.
  • Be in possession of an original KCSE certificate.
  • Graduated with a bachelor’s degree of at least second class honors for masters and a master’s degree for a PhD.

Registration is done via http://ministry-education.govmu.org.

What are the requirements for scholarships in Russia?

Bachelor’s degree:

  • Minimum KCSE average grade of B (ordinary).
  • Not older than 23 years.
  • Completed high school within the past three years.

  • Under the age of 35 years.

How many vacancies has TSC indicated?

In related news, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced it will recruit 20,000 teachers for secondary schools, amid a national teacher shortage.

TSC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nancy Macharia revealed that the teachers would be hired on contract, providing opportunities to thousands of unemployed graduates.

Macharia told the National Assembly Education Committee that science teachers will be given priority in the upcoming round of recruitment.
