A self-defense class in Lansing, Illinois aims to empower women to protect themselves in dangerous situations

LANSING, Ill. (WLS) — Wherever you are, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings.

A local fraternity hopes to give women the confidence to defend themselves in dangerous situations.

On Sunday, November 10, a self-defense class will be organized called Unarmed, Still Dangerous.

The class runs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 16907 Torrence Avenue Lansing, IL 60438.

Tickets cost 15 euros and you can register here.

Senpai Stephen C. White, Senior visited ABC7 with some of his students to show host Samantha Chatman some techniques to help you gain the upper hand if you are ever the target of an attack.
