Spectrum Athlete of the Week: Mason McGreer (Perkins County)

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – The Perkins County Boys Cross Country team used teamwork and chemistry this season to win the Class D State Championship in Kearney last week while holding off a talented North Platte St. Patrick’s team.

Leading the charge for Plainsmen senior Mason Mcgreer. McGreer claimed his second straight individual state title with a time of 15:52.12 to capture the victory. For his efforts, Mason McGreer is our Spectrum Athlete of the Week.

Mason wins the individual state title in cross country and is also a member of the Plainsmen state title team.
