Steckert reaches milestone, leads Southern Lehigh football to dominant state playoff victory

Southern Lehigh junior Sean Steckert rushed for 763 yards and 11 touchdowns in Saturday’s PIAA Class 4A quarterfinal. And no, that’s not before the season, that was before the last three playoff games.

Steckert kept up his incredible postseason pace Saturday afternoon at Shamokin Area High School, piling up 219 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries in the Spartans’ 45-7 win over Juniata.
