Stalker 2: Patch 1.0.1 fixes 650 bugs and errors in the game

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl will be released on September 5, 2024 for the Xbox Series and PC. The mix of Ego-Shooter and Survival-Horror has become solid in critical and playing a whole bunch with Patch 1.0.1 being processed later. It’s the first major update of the launch and fixes many bugs and issues across all platforms. Entwickler GSC Game World reports the patch notification.

On Steam schreibt der Entwickler: “Achtung, Stalker. We are grateful for this Leiden and Unterstützung session of the Veröffentlichung, it is a matter of work for one. The Patch 1.0.1 is available on the PC as well as on the Xbox version .This is beyond repair – Patch, from über 650 Bugs and issues have been found. Here are the most important updates for the game.’


Darauf follows a long list of improvements and bug fixes. Here you will find fixes for AI issues, audio and sound bugs, optimizations and balance issues for the camp and for some forts. When the game is played on the gamepad, the menus can solve the game physics problem and allow multiple operations to take place in the attacking game.

So it is a problem in the mission, that the GSC Game World deals with the processing and execution of the offensive Spielwelt games. Facial animation and a slew of no longer integrated adjustments could be due to a major bug fix. There’s a chance the post-apocalyptic shooter is no longer active. Here you will find the following Patch notifications:


AI solutions:

  • Fixed groups of NPCs getting stuck and dying near Shelter during active emission.
  • Fixed an issue where Burer could drop mission items from the player’s hands.
  • Added missing sound effects for Burer’s ‘Telekinesis’ ability.
  • Fixed issues where NPCs would occasionally get stuck and not reach the mission location. This may have resulted in the inability to interact with NPC or progress to the next mission phase due to inactive behavior of the mission NPC.
  • Fixed issues with performance drops/possible crashes due to out of memory in hubs and locations full of NPCs during long gaming sessions.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs would enter A pose or fly after death.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs could not track if a target in cover was covered by shots, causing them to jump into cover.
  • And even more, more than 20 different problems with AI.

Optimization solutions:

  • Fixed an issue where invisible NPC/mutants would appear in the field of view while the player was exploring.
  • An issue with fire visual effects not displaying at certain camera angles has been resolved.
  • We also fixed approximately 100 different crashes, including potential memory leaks and EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION issues.

Audio and sound solutions:

  • Fixed an issue where battle music would still play even though the battle ended.
  • And 7 other minor audio and sound bugs.

Balance adjustments:

  • The repair costs for weapons and armor have been reduced.
  • Significantly higher cost of artifacts (more revenue from sales).
  • The cash reward for most missions will be increased from 2 to 3 times.
  • Beginner difficulty, armor and weapon improvements.
  • Mutant damage has been moderately reduced on Rookie difficulty (more changes to mutant health balance in the Combat Balance section).
  • Damage to the player’s weapon is reduced by 23 percent on Rookie difficulty.
  • Armor durability increased by 12.5 percent.
  • Added silencer mount for PTM to specific stock in Lesser Zone.
  • Fixed sales prices for exoskeletons, they are now more expensive to sell.
  • Fixed selling price of upgraded weapons.
  • Rebalanced Hercules consumable: Removed player speed debuff; increased the effect parameters (now the player could carry more weight after consumption).
  • Some additional minor bug fixes.

Battle Balance:

  • Reduced the weight of some mission items (including the weight of scanners)
  • Slightly rebalanced Bloodsucker’s damage.
  • Bloodsucker’s attack protection rank has been reduced (increased weapon damage).
  • Reduced Boodsucker’s HP regeneration outside of combat.
  • Controller HP is moderately reduced.
  • Burer HP is moderately reduced.
  • Boar HP is moderately reduced.
  • Flesh HP is moderately reduced.
  • Headshot damage to Boar has been changed to 100% body damage.
  • The damage to the boar from shots to the limbs increases.
  • The damage to the flesh from shots to the limbs is increased.
  • Significantly increased weapon range.
  • Slightly increased melee distance.

Gamepad input:

  • Increased dead zones for gamepads

Characters:

  • Fixed eyes and teeth on NPC models.
  • Some minor fixes to NPC models and animations.

Cutscenes:

  • Added missing footage to TV screens in the final cutscene.
  • Fixed an issue with deer animation in the opening cutscene.
  • And 20 other different bugs in the cutscenes.

Game settings and menus:

  • Fixed unreadable text at the bottom of the Shader Compilation screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the ‘Nvidia Reflex Low Latency’ option was not being saved on subsequent game launches.
  • And 10 more minor problems.

Interactive objects:

  • Fixed physics issues with destructible and movable objects, including those floating in the air.
  • Fixed an interaction prompt with glass doors in the SIRCAA courtyard causing a passage block.
  • Fixed missing interior doors in the X-11 laboratory elevator.
  • And even more little bugs.

Main and side missions:

Fixed numerous mission blockers and bugs that occur under specific circumstances. Key solutions include:

  • Fixed a missing dead blind dog interaction in the Nightingale’s Hunt mission.
  • Uncompleted objectives in the Seek and You Shall Find mission have been resolved.
  • Fixed several issues in the There and Back Again mission, including one where the artifact could not be found.
  • Fixed dialogue loop with Zotov during the A Needle in a Haystack mission.
  • Fixed progress blockers in the Answers Come at a Price mission, including issues with bandits after an emission and missing the Heavy Key item.
  • Corrected mission markers for NPC locations in Hot on the Trail mission.
  • Fixed door-related issues in the Looking for a Guide mission and the Side Hustle mission.
  • Fixed an issue where the cutscene would not start during the Just Like the Good Old Days mission.
  • Fixed an issue where Lodochka went missing from Quiet’s camp during the Just Like the Good Old Days mission.
  • Fixed an issue during Just Like the Good Old Days where Lodochka would behave aggressively after giving him the transmitter.
  • It is now possible to turn off the electricity in the flooded area during the mission To the Last Drop of Blood.
  • Fixed multiple issues in the On the Edge mission, including inactive NPCs, stuck doors, and Monolith attack progression.
  • Fixed progress blockers in the A Minor Incident mission, including issues with Bayun’s collar and locked doors.
  • Addressed performance drops and confusing objectives in the In Search of Past Glory mission.
  • Fixed issues in the Visions of Truth mission, including stuck NPCs and blocked progression after dialogues.
  • Fixed stuck cutscenes and blocked progression in Dangerous Visitors, Gray’s Last Hunt, and The Eternal Shining missions.
  • Corrected spawning behavior for NPCs and enemies in The Boundary and Escape from the Cage missions.
  • Missions like Down Below, Budmo! and A Big Score have been adjusted to fix stuck NPCs, misaligned markers, and missing dialogue options.
  • And about 120 other things within the main story, side missions and encounters.

Open world experience:

  • Fixed stretched or missing limbs on humanoid corpses.
  • Fixed missing fast travel routes, including to the concrete plant for Mushroom.
  • Fixed issues with speakers, fast travel, and NPC interactions in various locations such as the Scientist Bunker and the Chemical Factory.
  • Adjusted enemy NPC behavior during the Arena missions, including bandit tactics and more ammunition for the tyrant fight.
  • Corrected mission progression in Black Sheep and The Key to Freedom missions.
  • And about 50 other issues have been resolved.

Player guidance, equipment and weapons:

  • Fixed a bug that could allow items to be sold to the merchant for more money than they actually cost.
  • Fixed issues blocking input with the PDA, inventory, and attachments when interacting with artifacts.
  • Corrected flashlight behavior after save/load.
  • Fixed issues with grenade type selection, compass marker overlaps, and missing mission markers.
  • Fixed inconsistencies with weapon and armor upgrade effects, including price and upgrade reversals.
  • Improved HUD behavior and increased the duration of “Point of No Return” hints during the Down Below mission.
  • Fixed a bug where players could sell mission items via the gamepad.
  • And about 50 minor “deviations”.

Voice-over and facial animations:

  • Fixed missing facial animations for Sava in the Hot on the Trail mission and Mugwort in The Eternal Shining mission.
  • Fixed missing voice lines during the Let No One Leave Unsatied mission.
  • Corrected radio call effects so that NPC voices properly reflect distance during communication.
  • And a few more things have been fixed.

World:

  • Fixed flickering textures in several locations including the Sphere, Military Base, and Chemical Plant.
  • Fixed movement issues including getting stuck in certain locations during missions like Once More Unto the Breach and A Tough Awakening.
  • Artifact spawn points have been corrected in some areas.
  • Fixed NPC behavior during encounters.
  • Adjusted voice volume during stormy weather for better audio balance.
  • And about 50 more bugs.
