Besides the established stars, many talented youngsters will be keen to impress with their performances in the ongoing Duleep Trophy to make it into the Indian team.

Tanush Kotian

The Mumbai all-rounder has had a huge success in the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy. He has taken 75 wickets at an impressive average of 26.38 and has scored 1152 runs at 42.66, including a century and 11 fifties in first-class cricket so far. He will be looking to emulate his performance in the 2024 Duleep Trophy to knock on the doors of the Indian team.

Abhimanyu Easwaran

The prolific Bengal batsman has scored over 7,000 runs in 94 First-Class matches. He has consistently knocked on the doors of the Indian Test team but has yet to find a place. He will be keen to repeat his feat in the Duleep Trophy.

Musheer Khan

The emerging talent has been performing brilliantly in First Class cricket for the last couple of years. The diminutive batsman has also scored a marathon century in the ongoing Duleep Trophy. Selectors will be keeping a close eye on him.

Harshit Rana

The 22-year-old pacer from Kolkata Knight Riders impressed during IPL 2024. He took 19 wickets in 13 matches and played a crucial role in KKR’s victorious campaign. He has also taken 28 wickets in just seven First Class matches. He is considered a prospect for the Indian team.

Nitish Kumar Reddy

The pace bowling all-rounder is being seen as the next Hardik Pandya for India. With Hardik battling injuries, the selectors are keeping an eye on him in the ongoing Duleep Trophy. A good performance in the prestigious domestic tournament could give him the much-needed confidence to balance the Indian team.
