IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race winners Todd Coleman and Aaron Telitz will race an Optimum Motorsport McLaren 720s GT3 Evo at the Hankook 24H Barcelona this weekend.

Coleman and Telitz, who won the four-hour Pilot Challenge round at Mid-Ohio in June, join Robert Megennis and Frederik Schandorff in an 11-car GT3 grid that will make up the 25th edition of the Spanish enduro.

A total of 38 cars will take part in the final season of Creventic’s 2024 Hankook 24H Series.

Other American names in the GT3 class include Scott Noble, Jason Hart and Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS regular Dustin Blattner, teaming with Ralf Bohn in the #91 Herberth Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R.

Herberth currently leads the GT3 standings with a 32-point advantage over the No. 18 Sainteloc Junior Team Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, which will be driven in Barcelona by Michael Doppelmayr, Pierre Kaffer, Elia Erhart, Stephane Tribaudini and Christer Joens.

Other notable additions to the GT3 class include regular entrants Red-Camel Jordans.nl who will battle for overall honours in a JUTA Racing Audi driven by Ivo Breukers and Luc Breukers, two-time Rolex 24 at Daytona class winner Rik Breukers and Fabian Danz.

BMW works driver Jens Klingmann has meanwhile been added to the line-up for the No. 14 Poulsen Motorsport BMW M4 GT3, alongside Kristian Poulsen, Roland Poulssen and Alfred Nilsson.

The seven-car GT4 class features a number of notable entrants, including the previously confirmed No. 428 ST Racing BMW M4 GT4 for the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS pairing of Samantha Tan and Neil Verhagen, as well as multiple Indianapolis 500 starters Pippa Mann, Fabian Duffieux and Jon Miller.

They will be competing against two overall winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans: Emanuele Pirro and Jan Lammers. They will share a Ginetta G55 GT4 with Jeroen Bleekemolen and with Greg Mills and Pirro’s son Cris.

Buggyra ZM Racing, who clinched the GT4 title with a fourth consecutive class win at the previous round in Misano just before the end of the race, are absent, leaving the No. 424 Lionspeed GP Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS as the highest-placed car in class.

In the four-car TCE/TCX class, YouTuber and Nürburgring GT4 driver Jimmy Broadbent has been added to the line-up for the No. 133 J-Mec Engineering BMW M3.

The latest version of the entry list shows Broadbent teaming up with James Collings, Kevin Clarke and Nigel Greensall. However, Broadbent told Sportscar365 that he is expected to race with a three-man team, replacing Greensall at the last minute.
