rbb releases first time at the Podcast Festival

The Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) started its first own Podcast Festival: from August 30 to September 1, the podcast format was presented live at the Haus des Rundfunks. From 20 shows, the line-up for the non-fest “House of Podcast” 2024 is good. The live podcasts “Deutschland 3000 – ‘ne gute Stunde mit Eva Schulz” and “Sucht & Süchtig” with Hagen Decker and John Cook completed the program.

The concept “Podcast” began during that 20-year period and was written by British journalists Ben Hammersley back. A whole week long the House of the Radio Podcast enthusiasts should gather for a day. On August 29th, the Publikums-Festival event will take place in the Rahmen of the “House of Podcast” in a branch: international specialists discuss in the “Podcast Forum” of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Under the motto “Better Together” I started and networked the ARD with Cooperation Partners of the Podcast Industry on August 30th and 31st.
