Federico Chiesa could replace Ademola Lookman at Atalanta

Serie A club Atalanta could lose Ademola Lookman this summer, but there may already be options on the market to replace the player.

Lookman has refused to be called up for the squad against Lecce. PSG have contacted his entourage and the player is said to be interested in a transfer.

AllAtalanta have reported that Lookman’s departure is now a concrete possibility and Atalanta are already looking at possible replacements. One name that interests them is Federico Chiesa.

One issue could be Chiesa’s high salary, but the advantages are that he is of high quality and experience and is no longer in the Juventus project. There is also interest in Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori, who is now looking for regular playing time.

Another curious suggestion is Romelu Lukaku, who wants to go to Napoli, but many insiders at the club seem to prefer the Belgian. Both Chiesa and Lukaku are on high salaries, but selling Lookman could help Atalanta free up finances.
