NACON UNVEILS A VARIETY OF NEW PRODUCTS AT GAMESCOM 2024

Lesquin, August 22, 2024 – Because the excitement surrounding this edition of gamescom reaches a climax, NACON is pleased to present our latest offerings for this year. These include an introduction to our newest accessories, as well as the unveiling of the recently announced wireless controller officially licensed for Xbox: the Revolution X UnlimitedNACON also presents its new line-up, including 2 games shown exclusively at the Future Games Show, plus the first Revision steering wheel, a new premium product from our Racing division unveiled during Bigben Week and now being previewed at gamescom.

Based on her expertise in the gaming industry, NACON has set itself the ambition of releasing even more high-quality games and premium accessories, combining innovation and high performance. In particular, this year we have created a brand new section dedicated to the racing genre, but also a catalogue that is as varied as it is original, among which we can highlight several highly anticipated titles, such as Hell is us, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown And GreedFall 2: The Dying World.

Here’s a detailed look at all the new releases showcased at gamescom.

NACON’S NEW RACE UNIT HELPS TO LIFT SEVERAL PROJECTS IN THE PIPELINE

NACON has undertaken another innovation this year with the creation of its Racing Department, with the aim of developing an entire ecosystem around driving simulation games and top-end accessories. Its future projects will draw on the gaming industry expertise of the KT Racing studio, and on the company’s premium accessories know-how, with the creation of the Revision simulation accessories brand.

After being announced during Bigben Week in May, NACON’s First Revision send makes its debut here and is available for testing. Made from premium materials, this steering wheel kicks the whole Revision ecosystem and offers a wealth of setup and customization options, as well as a mobile app that allows for full gameplay configuration. This kit presented today includes a 9Nm Direct Drive base, a steel and aluminum load cell pedal set and a 30cm diameter leatherette steering wheel: all the essentials for top sim racing performance from the very first revs. As it develops over the coming months, the Revision ecosystem will enrich this bundle and further enhance your gameplay.

The unveiling took place during the last NACON Connect, Endurance Motorsports Series game will make its first playable debut at the show. Developed by KT Racing Studio, this endurance racing title will give you the chance to experience the thrill of circuit racing as a racer. But it can also take you to the pits, as you step into the shoes of race engineers. The game will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The player community has been eagerly awaiting this, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crownthe massively multiplayer online racing game set on a 1/1 scale reconstruction of Hong Kong Island is out September 12, 2024 Hong Kong Island is coming to PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Players can build a collection of exceptional vehicles, explore the island solo or in a group, and also compete in the Solar Crown competition. Those who pre-ordered the Silver Sharps/Streets Edition (consoles) can explore Hong Kong Island from September 10, 2024 (on consoles), while owners of the Gold Edition can get started on September 5, 2024 (on all platforms).

Finally, after an absence of 3 years, the official MXGP game is back, developed by KT Racing studio. So MXGP 24 – The Official Game is the first installment in a series signed until 2028 that will offer players the chance to experience the entire MXGP 2024 championship with its 21 official circuits and more than 50 riders from two categories (MXGP and MX2). Thanks to its extensive career mode, the game will also offer full immersion in this iconic event. The game will be released before the end of the year on PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S.

NACON GAMES AVAILABLE TO TRY AT GAMESCOM

Hell is usthe upcoming ambitious project from the Canadian studio Rogue Factor, will be presented behind closed doors this year. This action-adventure game, which combines exploration, storytelling and combat, offers players a captivating quest in a contemporary world ravaged by civil war. It features an innovative concept where players feel the thrill of adventure, guided only by their feelings and instincts. Directed by the talented Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, artistic director of Deus Ex: Human Revolution And Deus Ex: Mankind is divided, hell is us is scheduled for release on PC and consoles in 2025.

The end of NACON’s year will be marked by a number of major releases, some of which were shown at Future Games Show, an essential event for the industry. Last night at this event we dropped some exclusive gameplay videos of 2 highly anticipated titles coming in 2024-2025, GreedFall 2: The Dying World And Ravenswatch.

GreedFall 2: The Dying World: As part of the “games to watch” segment at Future Games Show, Spiders studio’s new narrative RPG revealed a brand new trailer focused on revealing more about its unique world that has already captivated a community of over 2 million players, as well as its plots, characters, and an all-new tactical combat system. The game will launch in Early Access on Steam on September 24, and will then release on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025..

Ravenswatch: the cooperative action roguelike game that revisits familiar stories and legends from around the world has revealed the release date and contents of version 1.0 in a new trailer. Starting September 26, 2024 on PC (Steam) and Fall 2024 on consoles, players will have the chance to discover the mysterious threat lurking behind the Nightmare, as well as a new playable hero, the half-vampire Carmilla.

In addition to the racing games mentioned above, the NACON stand will feature 3 other titles that will delight both sports fans and lovers of realistic games.

Our Australian studio, Big Ant, has come this year to present 2 games from their line-up: TIEBREAK And Ruggel 25. Available in early access on Steam since June 28, Ruggel 25 is on the stand to showcase the content of the upcoming update to the game, including new photogrammetrically modeled players, new officially licensed stadiums and teams, as well as a number of gameplay improvements based on player feedback. Further content and improvements will be added in successive updates, leading up to the final release, to create the best rugby simulation yet.

TIEBREAK: Official match of the ATP and WTA, the official tennis video game of the ATP and WTA, is now available in its definitive version on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam). Aiming to be the most advanced and realistic tennis simulation to date, TIEBREAK features an officially licensed roster of over 120 players, including the Big Three (Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer), stars such as Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka, and the complete ATP and WTA seasons. In an all-new mode, the Novak Djokovic Slam Challenge, players can also relive the best matches of Djokovic’s career. The Nintendo Switch™ version will be released at a later date.

Finally, Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulatorthe upcoming game in the LIFE series, dedicated to real-life simulations, is also available to try out at the NACON stand. Developed by Aesir Interactive studio, the creators of the benchmark simulation Police Simulator: Patrol Officers^TM, Ambulance life gives players the chance to step into the shoes of a paramedic. The goal of the game is to get to the accident scenes as quickly as possible and treat the victims by diagnosing and providing first aid before driving them to the hospital. Every situation is different: adaptability and making the right choices are the key to saving lives! Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator will be released in fall 2024 for PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S.

NEW GAMING ACCESSORIES FOR ALL PLAYERS

The end of 2024 is full of new products, especially the long-awaited new accessories for all gaming platforms.

A new premium controller for Xbox and PC gamers

NACON is taking advantage of gamescom to preview its new controller currently in development with Xbox: the Revolution X Unlimited for Xbox and PC. A unique combination of customization, durability and precision, it features Hall effect technology to reduce the risk of joystick drift. Meanwhile, the instant triggers combined with the trigger blockers allow the controller to adapt to different genres, and the high-performance permanent battery offers more than 10 hours of playtime without having to be charged. It also boasts an important new feature: an LCD screen in the center of the controller makes it very easy for the player to adjust different game profiles without having to use the dedicated app. Revolution X Unlimited will be released in late 2024.
