So the big work of art is the new album by Fontaines DC

Fontaines DC has experienced the love for “Romance” in all directions, to Los Angeles, Paris, Spain and London. A musical exile was fun when Irene was challenged in the Horizon, while he was out of the bandbreite schöpfen, the Indie and Britpop Cosmos in the 90s and 2000s was a big art hat. The whole story of ‘Here’s The Thing’ was so fun that Laune was a man with ‘Being A Girl’, a melodic indie anthem that came out of the Tanzfläche.

If you look at it differently, you will see in the Anschluss of the song ‘In The Modern World’, that a lush retro-melancholy was created, the man would now be found in the songs of Lana Del Rey.

If you know an alternative sector, it’s the track you should read: “It’s just that it’s bad to hear. . . ” And yet the songs on “Romance” don’t sound fresh, except like those from a gust. A clear example is the reference to Fontaines DC himself, who with “Sundowner” revived his own, trusted Shoegaze sound. Or with “Horseness Is The Whatness” in a ballad of 60 years and more.

You could see on the album “Skinty Fia” from 2022 that Fontaines DC has grown beyond its borders. Now that it is no longer the case, the “Post-Punk” is for now one of the many labels, the man has a bigger hat. And when the man is with all the melancholy, coolness and mess, the sound will be preached in the vergangenheit, while it becomes schwärmerisch and fröhlich.

And so ‘Romantiek’ has become a complex and extensive album, the songs are at a party. Fontaines DC could not be much better.
