The film festival was presented in Cannes and produced in Hamburg. The drama “Die Saat des heilige Feigenbaums” by Iranian director Mohammad Rasoulof is the German Oscar-Hoffnung for the best international film.

Das hat German Films, de Auslandsvertretung des Deutschen Films, I’m Donnerstagend gegeben. The Iranian-German-Französische Arte France production from Hamburg recreates the production films produced by RunWay Pictures and produced by the Moin Filmförderung unterstützt. Hamburger Film Editor Andrew Bird waged war for the editing of political dramas. In Germany the film Ende September will be released at the Rahmen des Filmfest Hamburg fairern.

Darum geht es in “Die Saat des Heiligen Feigenbaums”

I have become a drama in Tehran, my family and the situation in Iran. After the accusation of immigrants in the revolutionary court in Tehran, which a large part of the world is facing, there is no longer any question of a responsibility and one of these things, but of one of the frightening things. One thing for his proposals, on the other for possible fears or the authorities at a time, in that on the streets there is always someone who comes to protest, while hundreds of people are persecuted or destroyed every day. The judge has great consequences for the large numbers – whereby the own family and the social norms and the rules of family life come out of the power.

I have the most drama at the Cannes Film Festival with the Special Jury Prize, one of the most important prizes at the film festivals. The Juryvorsitz in Wettbewerb has the American registration Greta Gerwig. Rasoulof konnte nach a gefährlichen Flight aus dem Iran den Preis in Cannes personally involved. “We are happy to hear from you that Mohammad Rasoulof will be present during your flight to our country after Hamburg and we will welcome you and your team will receive a prize,” said the new Festival Leader Malika Rabahallah in Mai mit. “We are happy with each other, because our relationship is different and we move on, mute and hochaktuellen Film, there is a clear understanding of the situation, both in our own country.”

Der Regisseur teilte with: “I am happy with my life, with my new film in Hamburg. The city is my home.” The Filmfest Hamburg experienced a scary Verbundenheit.

The Filmfest Hamburg is open from September 26 to October 5, 2024. I am 17. December, the Oscar Academy received a shortlist of the “Auslands-Oscar”, also the Oscar for the best international film. This is reduced to five candidates, on January 17 can not be done. The Oscar Gala took place on March 2, 2025.
