Saudi Arabia stocks close lower; Tadawul All Share drops 0.64% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Shares in Saudi Arabia fell after the close on Tuesday as losses across sectors and stock prices narrowed.

In Saudi Arabia, the stock market fell 0.64% at the close.

The session’s best performers on the stock exchange were Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 7.53% or 2.90 points to close at 41.40. Meanwhile, Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:) added 5.54% or 0.90 points to close at 17.14 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:) rose 4.51% or 1.15 points to 26.65 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.69% or 0.01 points to close at 0.12. Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:) fell 4.67% or 1.55 points to close at 31.65 and Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) fell 3.42% or 1.20 points to close at 33.85.

On the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, falling stock prices outnumbered rising ones. The number of decliners was 181 versus 107, and 24 ended unchanged.

Shares in Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 7.53% or 2.90 to close at 41.40. Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 7.69% or 0.01 to close at 0.12.

Crude oil for October delivery fell 1.01% or 0.78 to $76.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for November delivery fell 0.82% or 0.66 to $79.70 a barrel, while the December gold futures contract fell 0.43% or 11.10 to $2,544.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged by 0.02% to 4.19, while USD/SAR was unchanged by 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.01% to 100.75.
