Outland Youth Employment Program in Quesnel, BC to Launch This Summer

NORTHAMPTON, MA / ACCESSWIRE / August 28, 2024 / Sabre-Anne Elkins, then 17, was scrolling through her Facebook feed in the summer of 2021 when she saw an ad encouraging her to participate in a summer program and get paid to do so.

The only requirement? She had to identify herself as an Indigenous youth. As a proud member of the Williams Lake First Nation band, she signed up right away, along with her 16-year-old brother.
