Omaxe Group invests Rs 2,500 crore in India’s first integrated 5-in-1 destination

Real estate company Omaxe Group has announced the launch of its next commercial project – The Omaxe State. According to the company, this will be India’s first integrated 5-in-1 destination for sports, retail, hospitality, food and culture. For this, the company will invest Rs 2,500 crore.

The project spreads over 50.4 hectares in Dwarka Sector 19-B, New Delhi, and is being developed in collaboration with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on a public-private partnership (PPP) model, with an investment of over Rs 2,500 crore.

“The project follows in the footsteps of iconic landmarks such as Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, Accor Arena in Paris, Singapore Sports Hub and Melbourne Olympic Park to revolutionise India’s sports and leisure landscape. This pioneering project will fill the void and aims to bring world-class sporting events back to Delhi,” the company said.

The project includes a world-class international cricket and football stadium, meeting ICC and FIFA standards, with a seating capacity of over 30,000 spectators, as well as an international multi-sport stadium with a capacity of 2,000 spectators.

The project features India’s first air-conditioned shopping mall, with storefronts stretching across 4.2 km, making it the largest private commercial development in Delhi.

The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
