West Mining Corp. Announces Exploration Program on Spanish Mountain West Property

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 3, 2024 / WEST MINING CORP. (“WEST” OR THE “COMPANY”) (CSE:WEST)(OTC PINK:WESMF)(FRA:1HL) is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2024 exploration program at the 100% owned Spanish Mountain West Property in central British Columbia. As a first step, the program will integrate new multispectral satellite imagery analysis with existing geophysical and sampling surveys to identify potential gold, copper and silver targets for follow-on field exploration this summer.

The multispectral analysis will use digital image processing based on the European Space Agency Sentinel 2 MultiSpectral Instrument data, complemented with CBERS4A, LANDSAT and ASTER images to create composite images based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) focusing on potential mineral alteration events. Targets identified from this work will be defined in more detail through high-resolution satellite image acquisition and analysis. These datasets will be integrated with existing airborne magnetic and field sampling surveys prior to field follow-up.
