Thor Explorations Announces Exploration Update on Douta Gold Project in Senegal

Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – September 5, 2024) – Thor Explorations Ltd. (TSXV: THX) (AIM: THX) (“Thorn” or the “Company“) is pleased to announce the latest set of drill results from its 2024 drill program at the Douta Gold Project in Senegal (the “Douta project“). The drill intersections of significant gold mineralization are from the Makosa East Prospect (“Makosa East“), a more recently discovered prospect that is 300 meters long (“M“) parallel to the east of the previously defined Makosa deposit.

The Douta Gold Project comprises the Makosa gold deposit which currently holds a total resource of approximately 1.78 million ounces (“Moz“) of gold (“Yes“) which consists of a declared resource of 21.2 million tonnes (“mountain“) with a content of 1.3 grams per ton (“g/t“) Ouch for 874,900 ounces of gold (“our Au“) along with an assumed resource of 24 Mt grading 1.2 g/t Au for 909,400 oz Au.
