New in the SWISS Bordküche

For the next three months, SWISS will be served on the long-term Swiss culinary heights in the canton of Aargau. The new menus for First and Business Class come from Sternekoch Manuel Steigmeier, chef de cuisine at the restaurant “FAHR” in Künten AG. In Premium Economy Class, you can enjoy the experience of the “SWISS Taste of Switzerland”, where you can enjoy the Aargauer Spezialitäten with the “Rüeblikuchen”.

In the First Class-geniessen Gäste as Vorspeise a Saiblingstatar with dill mayonnaise and Gurken-Joghurt-Mousse. The main course consists of melted turkey with cremolata, kirsch gravy and mascarpone polenta, or as an alternative cod with chimichurri, cremiger fregola sarda and gebratenem herbal gem. For the Business Class, Manuel Steigmeier prepared a marinierte Lachsforelle with Wildkräutersalat as Vorspeise. They also serve rind stroganoff with Spätzli, Randen und Sauerrahm as well as sautéed Zander with Riesling-Beurre-blanc, Laugenknödel and Broccolini zur Auswahl. For dessert there is a Marronikuchen with Vanilla-Schlagrahm and Mandarin-Kalamansi-Gel.

The three-day menu in the Premium Economy Class is inspired by the Canton of Aargau: Passenger bowls among others in the Genuss von Habsburger Ritterkäse und Aarenberger also dem berühmten Aargauer “Rüeblikuchen” with Cream diplomat.

At 21 years SWISS started selling the “SWISS Taste of Switzerland” in your flight with a simple journey through Switzerland. In collaboration with the catering partner gategourmet famous Spitzenköche menus from the home region were created, which were served for three months on a long term of the Switzerland. Abgerundet is the Offer during the wine and cheese specialties in the jewel region.
