Siemens Mobility builds US-Werk für Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge in New York – 300 new vacancies | 09.09.24

Siemens Mobility is the first high-voltage wind power project in North America at Horseheads in the US state of New York.

The new work in the United States is to restore America’s first high-speed wind turbine, the American Pioneer 220, Siemens Mobility shared in Montagabend with. The train will be completed on the route from Las Vegas to Southern California by Brightline West. The production of the American Pioneer 220 will be sold in the year 2026. The investment has brought Siemens Mobility to 60 million dollars.

The new Siemens Mobility facility offers a quick turnaround of 28,000 m² of floor space and 300 work places – creating jobs in electromechanical assembly, quality management, quality control, industrial production, testing, project management, supply chain management and logistics.
