Dear comrades,

We offer our condolences on the deaths of your comrades Ka Hadjie, Ka Concha, Aurelio B. Bosque (Ka Zarco/Baijan/Rio), Jose Jerry Tacaisan (Ka Miller/Bronze), Bemjamin Cortel (Ka Amor/Ruby/Mamang), Romulo Iturriaga Gangoso (Ka Reagan/Biboy/Pedik), Jielmor Gauranoc (Ka Doc/Tango/Baron), Juvylene Silverio (Ka Kaykay/Purang), Armando Savariz (Ka Nene/Kulot), Rewilmar Torrato (Ka Minerva/Mara/Moray) and John Paul Capio (Ka Ronron). They were killed in August during heavy clashes with fascist troops of the Philippine Armed Forces.

The loss of every revolutionary fighter is heavy. Especially heavy is the loss of Ka Hadjie, member of your Central Committee and secretary of the Panay Regional Party Committee, and Ka Concha, who devoted her entire life to the revolutionary cause. We will honor their memory.

We protest vigorously against the state terror of the Philippine regime and the intensified collaboration of German imperialism with the reactionary Marcos regime. At present, the frigate Baden-Württemberg is on its way to the Philippines and wants to provocatively take a route that has not been taken by any German warship for 22 years: the strait between China and Taiwan.

We reaffirm our solidarity with the liberation struggle of the working class and masses of the Philippines. Please extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
