Ehemaliges KZ in Husum-Schwesing: Project “13 Weeks” started | NDR.de – Nachrichten

Zur Erinnerung und de Opfer der Konzentrationslager Husum-Schwesing und Ladelund (Kreis Nordfriesland) hat der Freundeskreis der KZ-Gedenkstätte Husum-Schwesing das Project “13 Wochen” ins Leben gerufen. Before 80 years, 2,500 construction projects for the construction of the “Friesenwall” had to be completed from September to December 1944. In those 13 weeks the insgesamt becomes more than 300 Inhaftierte. Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) designed the project in a free form. On September 28, the Läufe jeweils starts at 10:30 am.

“Wir innern an die Ereignisse for 80 Jahren, indem weg der Häftlinge gehen – also von dem Gelände des heemaligen Konzentrationsslagers nach Husum durch die Stadt hindurch”, says Friedemann Magard, organizer and pastor of Kirchengemeinde Husum.
