The Perfect Couple Cast: Where Have You Seen These Stars Before?

Considering the film has barely deviated from Netflix’s top spot for most-watched movies since its premiere earlier this month, it’s safe to say The Perfect Couple has many in its grip.

The murder mystery series has become known for a few things: its impressive cast (led by Oscar winner Nicole Kidman), its many twists and turns, and of course, the group dance number that features in every episode.

But besides Nicole, chances are you’ll recognize a few other actors in The Perfect Couple.

You’ve seen them all here before…

In recent years, Eve Hewson has had a number of impressive roles to her name, including the BBC drama The Luminaries and the film Flora And Son.

However, she is best known for her role in the dark comedy Bad Sisters on Apple TV+, which will premiere a second season later this year.

Chances are you’re also familiar with Eve’s father, the little-known Irish singer-songwriter Bono. Have you heard of him?

Nicole Kidman’s TV husband in The Perfect Couple, Liev Schreiber, has earned nine Emmy nominations over the past 24 years, primarily for his voice acting and lead role in the crime drama Ray Donovan.

He also played Orson Welles in the television movie RKO 281 and appeared in films such as Scream (and its sequels), The Butler, The French Dispatch, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and the Best Picture-winning film Spotlight.

British actor Billy plays Nicole Kidman’s son in The Perfect Couple. Her wedding day is interrupted when a body washes up on the beach.

You have previously seen him in films such as Dunkirk, Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker and Kid Snow, or in the TV series MotherFatherSon and Under The Banner Of Heaven.

Before joining the cast of The Perfect Couple, Jack Reynor starred in the A24 horror film Midsommar, the 2015 film adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the legal drama On The Basis Of Sex, and the TV drama Stranger Angel.

He also shared the screen with his future sister-in-law Eve Hewson in Flora And Son.

Meghann Fahy has so far mainly played major roles in TV series, including The Bold Type, Chicago Fire and One Life To Live.

Her popularity soared in 2022 when she joined the cast of season two of The White Lotus, sharing the screen with Theo James, Will Sharpe, and Aubrey Plaza.

Cast your mind back to the mid-2000s and you’ll remember Dakota Fanning beginning her career as a child actress with roles in Uptown Girls, The Cat In The Hat, I Am Sam and War Of The Worlds.

She also appeared in a very memorable episode of the final season of Friends, voicing the character Coraline in the stop-motion favorite.

More recently, she appeared in the Twilight saga as Jane, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as a member of the Manson “family,” and received an Emmy nomination for her role in another Netflix series, Ripley.

Ishaan Khatter began his acting career as a child, initially appearing in Indian cinema, but recently made the transition to international work.

In 2020, he starred in the BBC drama A Suitable Boy, an adaptation of Vikram Seth’s novel of the same name.

The Perfect Couple is one of Sam’s biggest roles to date, but you may have also seen him in films like Eileen, White Noise, or the Netflix original Maestro.

Sam is the son of British star Emily Mortimer, with whom he also shared the screen in the Sky comedy Doll & Em.

The Perfect Couple marks quite a turnaround for Donna Lynne Champlin, who was previously best known for her prominent role in the musical comedy series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

She also played Obama adviser Melissa Winter in the failed miniseries The First Lady and had small roles in Birdman and Downsizing.

Donna has also had a number of impressive theatre roles to her name, including the Broadway musicals Billy Elliot and Sweeney Todd.

If you were a fan of ER in the early years, you may remember that Michael Beach was a recurring character in the Al Boulet film.

Since then, he has also starred in Brothers & Sisters, Stargate Atlantis and Dahmer on Netflix, and in films such as If Beale Street Could Talk, Aquaman and Saw X.

Fans of American Horror Story will remember Adina Porter from her roles in seasons Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse and Red Tide.

Her other television work includes shows such as The Morning Show, True Blood, The Newsroom and The 100. She most recently lent her voice to the TV series The Power, which aired on Amazon Prime Video last year.

Although Isabelle Adjani is not a household name in the world of mainstream television and film, she is a record-breaking actress. She is the only actress to have won five César Awards for her acting in her native France.

You may have seen her in the psychological horror film Possession, the drama One Deadly Summer or the TV comedy Call My Agent!, in which she had a cameo as herself.
