17-Year-Old Former AGT Contestant Found Dead

Former “America’s Got Talent” contestant, 17-year-old Emily Gold, has been found dead in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The local high school student’s body was found Friday under a bridge next to a highway. Police say her death is being investigated as a suicide. Emily was a member of the Los Osos High School dance team whose appearance on the reality competition series in August prompted judge Simon Cowell to exclaim, “It was absolutely brilliant.” Speaking to ET on the red carpet at the “AGT” premiere last month, Emily said of her hometown, “We’re such a tight-knit community and we love the support.”
