As Bryce James enters his senior year at Sierra Canyon High School, he already has the potential to add a hefty sum to his bank account.

James, the second son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has a net worth of $1.3 million, according to On3.com. That figure places James 17th on the website’s NIL net worth list, making him the highest-ranked high school player in terms of NIL value.

According to 247Sports’ rankings, James is ranked as a 3-star prospect and the 27th-ranked shooting guard in the country. 247Sports director of scouting Adam Finkelstein wrote that James “may not be the dynamic athlete or playmaker some initially expect, but he’s a fundamentally sound player with solid perimeter play and a good skill set up front.”

The 17-year-old has offers from Ohio State and Duquense, but he will likely use his senior year to garner interest from other schools before making a final commitment.

James is looking to follow in the footsteps of his older brother Bronny, who was selected in the second round of the 2024 NBA draft after playing one season at USC. This year, he will join his legendary father for the Lakers.
