Zeitreise ins Jahrzehnt von Ambivalenz und Turbo-Umbruch · Leipziger Zeitung

Many colleagues have received a warning from the museum director Dr. Anselm Hartinger with the service: the theme “disease”, but it is not that it is complicated and poses a risk, it is a museum to visit. But the City History Museum in Leipzig has become it. Under the title “Between Aufbruch and Abwicklung” is a new exhibition for Leipzig from the 90s after a longer period of work on the future of public life.

“If there is a machine that does not work, then it has been a year since this machine worked”, Aiko Wulff explains with an eye-opener at the service. Wulff is a project and one of the curators of the new exhibition of the city history museums “Zwischen Aufbruch und Abwicklung. Die 90er in Leipzig”, it was the middle award ceremony. Tomorrow you can buy the best products in the Böttchergäßchen.

Everything seemed possible, but everything was not possible

It is so bad that there is no question of self-reliance. If the idea is that one of the nineties takes a year before the intern has taken the time to talk. “It is a war that Wagnis is, that war is all clear. It is also a novelty in East German city museums”, said Curator and Museum Master Tim Rood gegenüber der LZ.

When the turbulent Umbruchszeit began, the end of the GDR began in Leipzig, the museum extension presents other fragments as a rebirth history of the Middle Ages: Who wants to spend a year in the Upheaval and Downfall, Optimism and Future Fear, New Beginning and Fall of the art eng beieinandervallen? A Zeit, in the history of everything that seems to be, may well have been a biography of a few years, while the war on the Arbeitsplatz is the best friend or partner for a secure job that a suitcase package and a western wake can have?

And all these people can’t make any effort to bring their achievements, memories and experiences to the right puzzle for the sake of argument: large construction projects, house purchases, techno parties, festivals, sporting events, Konsumtempel, Arbeitslosigkeit, Stasi-Strickungen, Glücksritter, Kriminalität, Neo-Nazi violence, environmental degradation – the ambivalent representation of the 90s is quickly put to an end by the fortsetzen.

Baugerüst as a symbol of Umbruch and imperfection

Etwa 400 Zeugnisse von der Revolution in der GDR until the end of the 90s-years in Leipzig now became an extension of the Akribie, with the sechsköpfige core team of the city history museums and for two years one of the extensive equipment and its complex herausforderungsgestellt hat . These were conceived, people befragt, debates carried out and archives preserved.

If the symbol of the Gestalterbüro „Basic Leipzig“ is seen by the Baugerüst: There is a representation of the Zwiespältige, Imperfect a few years, which is still in many cases and jetzt in the Sin of Aufbruch and Freiheitsgewinn, ohne that Schattenseiten unter den Tisch fallen. Das Gerüst structures the Rundgang durch die kultur- und alltagsgeschichtlichen Themenfelder “Anstöße”, “Aufbrüche”, “Alltag”, “Arbeit”, “Aufarbeitung” and “Aufschwung.”

Consider it one of the personal areas of attention, Posters, Media, Writings, Photos of film and audio content. While a man is busy with the high quality of the business, as he stands in front of the distillery’s Club Tresen, a Grufti Outfit, the title image is a longer time or a trusted Leuchtreklame wiederfindet.

There is a group that in the meantime of the Ausstellung interviews is busy with a group of different herkunft and altersgruppen, those companies and businesses that are so long that they can enjoy the las for 90 years.

Impulse und Anstoß für die Gegenwart

The museum guides and viewers of the museums are often busy with the long use of the feedback on the exchange and the comings of presentation formats, which quickly accompany a fast Ausstellungszeit. In a time of dissent from democracy and right-wing extremism, the theme is one of the most important, says curator Tim Rood.

A chef said he was in charge: The exhibition is a sure bet, says museum director Dr. Anselm Hartinger. If you have found a space for an austausch and more honest beets – and if you see the 1990s, it will go much slower, you will probably have won. All according to the motto: trade, do it easily and also risk things.
