(Video) Gary Neville names man who ’embarrassed’ Liverpool under Arne Slot

Liverpool had a great start under Arne Slot, but since his arrival things have not gone smoothly. Gary Neville singled out one man in particular who made life difficult.

The 49-year-old said in an interview with The Overlap: “I think Liverpool will be a bit embarrassed about the boy they didn’t get.”

The former Manchester United player was clearly referring to the club’s failure to sign Martin Zubimendi this summer, and was unimpressed by the way the whole story played out publicly.

We have recovered well on the pitch, but there is no doubt that our new head coach will be hoping to secure his next target in a much easier manner.
