REPORT: DOJ likely to announce charges against Iranian suspects for hacking into President Trump’s electronic communications

This stuff is so predictable. You would think that the DOJ-NSD would make an effort not to simply reuse their previous playbook. Unfortunately, especially because the IC silos are run by bureaucratic idiots, they end up repeating whatever works.

REPORT: DOJ likely to announce charges against Iranian suspects for hacking into President Trump’s electronic communicationsOn September 19, CTH said: “I’m just going to sit back and wait to see what the DOJ NATIONAL SECURITY DIVISION (DOJ-NSD) comes up with next. Presumably -iIf I’m right, we’ll see a nasty Iranian group named, labeled and blamed for the hacking, probably end of this month. Google’s cybersecurity division has said Iranians have also tried to hack into Biden’s campaign, but there is no evidence those efforts were successful. (read more)

Stop me when you realize you’ve seen this movie before.

At the end of this IC rainbow it is the same destination. The Trump campaign is under constant surveillance and the IC is obscuring Iran as the legal predicate, the justification for the mechanisms used for surveillance by the Biden administration.
