The pilot project was jointly supported by city-based non-profit Waatavaran Foundation, along with India Infoline Finance Limited (IIFL) and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

With the goal of further reducing its environmental footprint, Lord’s Automative has taken several steps toward promoting sustainable practices. Recognizing that Mumbai’s dabbawalas currently use bicycles to deliver 20,000 to 30,000 lunch boxes daily, distributing e-motorcycles among them is an important step towards electrifying their fleet.
