Michigan will receive the receiver’s commitment in the 2026 recruiting class

Michigan’s passing offense may be among the worst in the country in 2024, but the program added a future pass-catcher on Thursday.

Dallas (Texas) Parish Episcopal 2026 three-star receiver Jayden Pile announced his commitment to Michigan in a social media post, choosing the Wolverines over 20 other reported offers, including Oregon, Notre Dame, Penn State and Oklahoma.

His verbal commitment marks a lengthy drought for the Wolverines, who had not brought in any recruits in the class of 2025 or 2026 since August.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is ranked as the No. 492 overall prospect and No. 78 receiver nationally by the 247Sports Composite system. He recently visited Ann Arbor for Michigan’s showdown against Texas on September 7.

Pile becomes the third commit in Michigan’s 2026 class, joining Cocoa (Fla.) four-star quarterback Brady Hart and Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star cornerback Brody Jennings.

Meanwhile, the Wolverines have landed a prospect in Texas in the last six cycles and have two verbal commitments from the Lonestar State in the class of 2025: four-star receiver Andrew Marsh, a top-100 recruit, and four-star cornerback Jayden Sanders.
