Vorwärts in de Verleidingenheit!: Spotlight-Retro Party with Udo Huber in Krems!

Österreich feiert dieses Jahr “100 Jahre Radio”: Am 1. October 1924 the transmission of the RAVAG, der Radio-Verkehrs-AG, began. We were sent to the Wiener Johannesgasse 4, where the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität (MUK) ended, and cost 3.5 Stunden tagch with bis zu 100,000 Horern in the first months. For 100 years, more millions of people are broadcast in the Austrian radio station, even though the ORF radios (with a reach of 4.5 million American stations), are the private sender of various Internet radios.

Amendment

One of the 50 years that the Austrian Radiolandschaft has achieved is the Wiener Udo Huber. The mother of theater science students started with Karriere in the Ö1-Kulturredaktion in May 1974. That first Spuren: Ein Beitrag über de Volkstheater director Gustav Manker in Mittagsjournal. After several stints at Club Ö3 and at Treffpunkt Ö3, the great opportunity began on November 1, 1981 as Nachfolger Hans Leitingers for the Hörerhitparade “Hit wähl mit”.

Mr. Hit Parade

The number “656731” (although the songs are available) would no longer be a trademark for the Ö3 charts, including for Udo Huber himself, since 1983 together with the TV hit parade “Die Großen 10” on the air. I imagine the legend is that British pop, rock and new wave music is presented in the top 10 of the music video charts, garnished with national and international live guests. The sensational quote war: Einmal im Monat vermmelten sich sonntags um 5.45 Uhr – in a time on the PC, social media, YouTube and private channels – more like a million dollars for the fernseher. During the 1993 war, Huber appeared on TV as “Mr. Hitparade” in the Einsatz, on Radio Sogar until 1997, and Casey Kasem (“American Top 40”) vermutlich by the long life of the Chart Moderator.

Retro-Cult

New Romantics, Neue Deutsche Welle, Italo Disco, High Energy, Grunge, Hip Hop, Eurodance, Techno: Zahlreiche Musiktrends (die teils gegen, teils blieben, teils miteinander verschmolzen) emerged in the 80s and 90s. A Zeit, with no musical experience whatsoever, is the first big lie, rauschige Abstürze, tolle Party-Nächte, extensive Urlaubstrips or modern Entgleisungen. And so the 2000s-year-old retro parties with Pils from the Boden kicked off in Krems under the trademark “Spotlight” in the first month of 2005 in Kremser Stadtsaal. With a plate of damals at private institutions Udo Huber.

Spotlight no. 59

“This party believes that my life may last a few years, actual years. Willkommen zu Österreichs ältester and einzigartigster Retroparty“: So grüßte der Kult-Moderator de Guest en Veranstalter Martin Neger op 59. „Spotlight“-Ausgabe in Autohaus Birngruber. “The motto is not “Zurück in die Zukunft”, especially “Vorwärts in die Vergangenheit”. The first track: „Video killed the Radio Star“ by Buggles or eigentlich „Video DIDN´t kill the Radio Star“ (Udo im Originalton) during the 100-year radio anniversary. Gleich as the second song presented by Udo Huber as the first No. 1 as a young „Hit wähl met“-Moderator, Soft Cell’s „Tainted Love“ with singer Marc Almond, the first year that the Wiener Volkstheater was organizing a Greatest Hits Show is.

The dance floor war has an official function and a short commercial one. On the Turntables, who are always DJ Chosn and VJ Christian, with two images flashing the best music videos of the 70s, 80s and 90s, from Visage’s avant-garde New Wave track “Fade to Crey”, Aha’s brilliant Comic-Reality Clip “Take on I” with Nenas 99 Luftballons and Joan Jett’s “I love Rock’n Roll”. with the cool crowd Humpe-Sisters), kitsch Eurotrash (“Coco Jamboo”, “Barbie Girl”), Rock classics (“Summer of 69”, “Narcotic”, “Time Warp”), Disco Anthems (“Dancing Queen”, „Funky Town“, „I will survivor“, „Kiss“) and Tanzkurs-Dirty Dancing-Klassiker with „The Time of my Life“.

Sport

Udo Huber himself was able to cope with these turbulent nights, a Musik-Freak born in 1953 (“Das Radio was 100 Years. I’m bald! Aber das ist een Andere Geschichte.”) is in great shape. Trotz einer Kneeoperation im Mai gewannn der Wahlburgenländer kürzlich two Medals at Austrian Masters in Schwimmen in Villach. And black Silver over 400 m Kraul and Gold over 200 m Schmetterling (!). The Kremser story will also no longer appear on Retro-Nights. A natural way to enjoy free time-to-send on Radio Burgenland (1-6 p.m.)…
