The Canadian Experience Class is intended for skilled Canadian workers seeking permanent residency, with minimum qualifications in Canadian skilled work experience and language skills required.

To qualify for the Canadian Experience Class, you must have completed at least one year of paid skilled work in Canada (or an equivalent amount of part-time work) in the three years prior to your application. In addition, you must have gained this work experience while working as a temporary resident in Canada.

Volunteer work and unpaid internships are not acceptable forms of compensation for your skilled work experience; instead, you must receive compensation in the form of a salary or earn commissions.

In addition, you are not eligible for the Canadian Experience Class if you have worked and gained work experience while temporarily living outside Canada without permission.

So far, two Provincial Nominee Program draw results have been announced in October, two for the Canadian Experience Class and one for French Language Proficiency.
