In Uthwerdum (Municipality Südbrookmerland/Landkreis Aurich), Foreign Minister Andreas Philippi (SPD) has started the construction of the Zentralklinik in Ostfriesland with the Spatenstich am Montag. The Zentralklinik will make the Landesregierung a larger file of the Krankenhausversorgung in Lower Saxony. Vorhaben war long disputed

New Großkliniken, which is the Zentralklinikum in Uthwerdum, ensure that medical experts and the Krankenhäuser in the Bundesland are expanded. Der Neubau umfasst 800 Betten und ersetzt bis Ende des Jahrzehnts die Kliniken in Aurich, Emdenund Norden. The holidays were long journeys – in two citizens’ lives they were abated.
