Citymaut-Projekt in Gothenburg passes Meilenstein

Citymaut-Projekt in Gothenburg passes Meilenstein

Vienna (OTS) –

  • One of the largest management projects in the world
  • Bereits more than half of the drainage and 66% of the drainage is removed

Kapsch TrafficCom has achieved the first phase of the Gothenburg Multi-Lane Free-Flow (MLFF) systems, with the use of the Subsidiaries of the national Swedish Transport Authority (Trafikverket) looking good.

In total, 50 toll stations and 91 toll points were quickly installed, all with their own infrastructure, including cameras and other technical equipment. With this system, Kapsch TrafficCom is a global mass transit point for urban congestion management. After the new installation, the barrier-free MLFF system is a city center with a light glow of traffic and water beds that perform an automatic, remote identification of the equipment.

For the city with a quick 600,000 euros, a home can earn a whopping 90 million euros, which is used for local infrastructure.

Carolin Treichl, EVP Europe, Middle East and North Africa at Kapsch TrafficCom, says about the project progress: “Every year about 150 million dollars of energy was used during the urban expansion, Gothenburg was one of the big Mautzonen world power. We started with our technology in such an important project for a successful project.“

Thomas Lundgren, project manager at Trafikverket for the Gothenburg congestion management project, says: “The Erneuerung has issued our Staumanagementsystems plan and carried out a complete installation with our Vertrag with Kapsch TrafficCom. The project will be completed in the first quarter of 2025 and inspired.“

Wichtiger Meilenstein erreicht

In April 2024 I started with the erfolgreichen work activities, the system management and the essential implementation of the project design of passiert.

The project team found that it is in the roll-out phase and that the unemployed development of the entire city is continuing. A problem for the citizens and citizens who are as light as they have to stop, become the highest concentrations of the night, a week and a long duration of the night. If this city is in the city, the city will no longer function properly, and the tag-verkehr will be so stört. As of August 2024, the Kapsch TrafficCom system will be 66 % of all tolled Fahrten and 57 % of all tolling points off.

Laufender Betrieb voor weniger Stau und Emissionen

The Gothenburg Maut project has only just begun, the system has been installed, and the urban infrastructure of the modernization and the deformation of the operating temperature and the emission of a certain load will also be nachhaltigkeit. With the Operation of the Systems for the coming years and potential Project Extensions Kapsch TrafficCom sets the retroactive Functions of those which infrastructure is langfristig.
