Boxing legend Mike Tyson spent Sunday getting a little more familiar with the surroundings of AT&T Stadium in preparation for his fight with Jake Paul in November.

Tyson took in the footage ahead of the Week 2 game between the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints and even got a chance to chat with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady:

Paul was also in attendance at Sunday’s match and he took on Tyson in midfield before kick-off:

The 58-year-old’s last official match was in 2005 and we’re still further removed from the height of the “Iron Mike” hysteria of the ’90s. Yet he remains one of boxing’s most recognizable figures for what he did in the ring.

Tyson reflected on Today in the USJosh Peter on how he no longer has to fight due to any kind of financial obligation. In addition to what he earned in his boxing career, he has turned his attention to the cannabis industry.

For Tyson, opposing Paul is another problem.

“I want to perform for the world,” he told Peter. “For me, that’s all I’ve ever known since I was 14.”

Training for the competition has also made the former heavyweight champion more than aware of his athletic mortality. The event had to be postponed due to a stomach ulcer problem, and he admitted to Peter that “it’s hard to walk now” thanks to all his training.

Fans are not put off by the fact that he is clearly past his prime, but are instead curious to see how much Tyson still has up his sleeve on November 15.
