Mount Abram in Monmouth boys soccer
3:30 PM, Monday
A clash between two 2023 state champions. Mt. Abram (5-1), the Class C champion, and Monmouth (5-1), the Class D champion, cut key players from their title-winning teams, but each retained enough talent to still be in the mix. another long playoff run.

Winthrop at Spruce Mountain hockey
3:30 PM, Monday
The defending Class C champion Ramblers (8-0) and 2023 runner-up C South Phoenix (6-1) have defeated most of their opponents this season. Dirigo is the only Class C team this season to lose to these two teams by less than three goals.

Biddeford at Cheverus hockey
4pm, Wednesday
These might be the two best teams in the state, as Biddeford’s only loss was to Cheverus in the season opener, 2-0. The Tigers (5-1) have convincingly defeated every opponent since, and the Stags (7-0) haven’t lost a game since 2019.
